"Trees are the earth's endless effort to speak to the ever listening Heaven" - Rabindranath Tagore India's rich tropical forests have over 1200 species of birds and 350 mammals, preserved in different regions of the country within 59 National Parks and 372 sanctuaries. The exotic areas are Ranthambore (Rajasthan), Corbett (Uttar Pradesh), Gir (Gujarat), Kanha and Bandhavgarh (Madhya Pradesh), Periyar (Kerala) and Kaziranga (Assam). Explore with us. Our objective is Environmentally Responsible Travel and visiting relatively undisturbed natural areas in order to enjoy, study and appreciate nature (and any accompanying cultural features) that promotes conservation, has low visitor impact, and provides for beneficially active, socio economic involvement of local populations. Ecologists who study the earth's ecosystems and try to model their dynamics argue that the plant and animal communities that share our planet contribute to the stability and functioning of biological and chemical cycles that make life possible for us on this planet. The ecosystem is like an airplane in which we are passengers. We can go on removing the rivets that hold the plane's wings up, one by one, for quite a while. While no single rivet may determine when we will crash, ultimately one particular rivet surely will. Each species that becomes extinct is like one more rivet pulled out from our plane. We at Wildlife India Division provides you the opportunity to explore the ever encompassing wildlife in India without causing any major threat to the environment. A few sample itineraries are listed below which might help you to finally give shape to the abstract picture you might have in your mind, however please note that this is YOUR personal tour and you can design the itinerary the way you want to. Our representatives will be glad to be of any assistance or suggestion you may require. |
